This body of work is an exploration of the unseen worlds that exist all around us but are too small to yield themselves to the naked eye. I’ve always been attracted to the photographic medium for its ability to reveal the hidden. In many cases, I try to accomplish that mission via conceptual or metaphorical solutions; this project, however, pursues that goal quite literally. Using a variety of techniques including macro photography; digital photogram; and microscopy (dark-field and light-field), I capture the minute scenes of beauty which hide all around us – incredibly close, yet worlds away.
